4×100 vs 5×100: what is the difference?
Both patterns use a 100 mm pitch circle, but 4×100 has four lug holes and 5×100 has five. In our database 70 models use 4×100 and 12 use 5×100.

What is the difference between 4×100 and 5×100?
The first number is the count of bolt holes and the second is the diameter of the circle through them, in millimetres. 4×100 has four holes and 5×100 has five, on the same-size circle. The holes land in different places, so a wheel drilled for one will not bolt onto a hub made for the other.
Which cars use 4×100?
4×100 is the most common pattern in India. Examples from our database: Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Enjoy, Chevrolet Sail, Chevrolet Spark, Citroen Basalt.
Which cars use 5×100?
5×100 is much rarer in India. Examples from our database: Skoda Fabia, Skoda Kushaq, Skoda Kylaq, Skoda Rapid, Skoda Slavia, Toyota Corolla Altis.
Can I fit 5×100 wheels on a 4×100 car?
Not directly. Adapters exist, but they add load to studs and bearings, and they are better avoided. The safe route is to buy wheels drilled for your car's own pattern. Some multi-fit wheels are drilled for two patterns at once and are stamped with both.
How do I confirm which one my car has?
Count the lug nuts first. Four means 4×something, five means 5×something. Then confirm the exact diameter in the PCD checker for your model and year.
How do I tell a 4-hole wheel from a 5-hole wheel in a listing?
Count the bolt holes in the photos and check the pattern stamped on the back of the wheel. A listing that only says 100 PCD without the hole count is incomplete, so ask the seller. Compare the answer with the numbers for your car before you travel to see the wheels.
